Classic Basil Pesto

2 cup fresh basil leaves (no stems)

2 large garlic cloves

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan

2 Tbsp. freshly grated Romano

1/4 cup pine nuts

1/2 cup olive oil

salt and pepper


Put all ingredients but olive oil in blender, or food processor. Process to mix. With machine running, slowly add olive oil. Mix completely. Season with salt and pepper. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
