Here is a very good and comprehensive list of a number of glitches at the periphery of Blades of Exile. Note that some of these might be due to individual file corruptions, and some of them have been fixed in recent revisions. However, some of them are still there, and forewarned is forearmed.

3) If the kill/raise dead special is called during combat mode, and the
special brings a dead member back to life, strange things will happen.

4) To enhance a steel wave blade with the flaming weapon ability, it will
cost 10000 gold, but with the steel halberd (Which is worth a lot more) it
only costs 1500 gold!

5) Weapons with the flaming weapon ability do extra unblockable magic
damage. Wouldn't it make more sense for them to do extra fire damage?

6) Depending on the ability strength of a missile with the exploding
ability, it will do different damage types. This is very strange.

7) If you save your game inside an area with conveyor belts, quit, then
reopen Blades again, and then reload your game, the conveyor belts will no
longer work! To get them to work again, you will have to re-enter an area
with conveyor belts in them.

8) Some of the default settings for the items are wrong. Item #220, the
Helm of Speed, has the speed ability, but in all the other Exile games it
had the occasional haste ability, plus the ability strength is also set to
0. Item #342, the Alien Blade, has no special ability, it is supposed to be
a poisoned weapon. Item #361, the shield mace, is supposed to be a weapon,
not a shield, and the way it is set, it is the most powerful shield in the
game for only 400 gold!

9) Many shops think that weapons with the poisoned weapon ability are
cursed. Healer will offer to uncurse items if a poisoned weapon is equiped,
shops will say that they are cursed instead of poisoned.

Fixed in recent rev.

10) The conceal ability option on items has no effect.

11) Here's a list of item abilities that seem to do nothing: All the
general abilities that say Protection From with a type of monster listed
after it, Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence.

12) If you have two items with the same ability equiped, it seems that it
will give your character the lower ability strength of the two.

13) When you creat a new scenario, it will ask you to name it. What ever
you type in for Scenario Name seems to not do anything.

14) If you have the special node, Call Global Special, and you have already
set which global special to call as a number over 99, and press the
Creat/Edit button, instead of taking you to the number that you typed in,
it will creat a new special.

15) Here's a strange bug that I don't quite know how to explain: Lets say
you are in town #x, and you step on a stairway special that is on the
coordinants a,b and the town that the special takes you to is less than x,
and the coordinants that it takes you to are something other than a,b and
there is a special in the new town on the coordinates a,b then the game
will call the special that is on coordinates a,b in the new town. (And no,
I did not set the advanced settings to call any special when that town is
entered) I know I worded that a little strange, if you need me explain it
better, please let me know.

16) Here's a good way to cheat, use the mage spell Simalcrum and capture a
basilisk, then you can summon it and have it kill a boss enemy. I did this
in A Small Rebelion and killed Stalker without even having to get near him.

17) Enter a scenario that you know the password for. Enter Debug Mode, get
to a special that takes you out of the scenario, then start a scenario that
you don't know the password to. You will still be in debug mode.

18) In the scenario editor, I imported a town in a scenario with a
different password (But it was a password that I knew) than what the one I
was editing was. Every now and then, the editor would bring up the message
that says that I had not entered the correct password.

19) Start up the scenario editor, now click just a few pixils below Load
Scenario. Sometimes when you do this, it will bring up the message that
says you have entered the wrong password.

20) On faster computers, it is hard to see the animation on animated terrains.

21) If you use a custom graphic for an item, it doesn't seem to center it
properly.

22) The Move Items special doesn't work if it effects more than one space,
and sometimes it won't work even if it does only effect one space. It is
the same way for many more of the rectange effecting specials.

23) At high levels, casting the bless spell once will make your character
impossible to be hit by physical attacks.

24) Using the refresh jobs/shops debug option while shoping in one of the
Magic Shops will produce strange results. Also there are no jobs, so
souldn't it be called just refresh shops instead of refresh jobs/shops?

25) Although the Orgish Guantlets and the Giantish Guantlets (Items #227 &
228) have different ability strenghts, they still effect your characters in
the same way. The only difference between them is that the Giantish
Guantlets cost more. The Giant Strength ability (Along with several other
abilities) is not effected at all by its ability strength, instead, its
item level is its ability strength.
